Our resource sector needs Canadians’ support, and Canadians need our resource sector

Canadian resource industries have put a lot of food on my family’s table. I work for the Yukon’s hard rock and placer miners. Meet The Candidate

My friends,

Thank you to everyone who shared their advice, thoughts, concerns, prayers, coffee tables and coffee pots with me over the last year or more. Thank you to every single person in every single Yukon community that shared their time and welcomed me into their homes. Thank you to everyone who contributed to my campaign in any way, especially those of you who supported me financially in these trying economic times. And most of all, thank you to the thousands and thousands of Yukoners who voted for me. I am overwhelmed at the faith you placed in me.

While the election results were not what we had hoped for, rest assured that our efforts were not in vain. We received more votes than any Conservative candidate in Yukon history. Just imagine what we can do together next time.

Thank you for the unwavering support for my family. We couldn't have done it without you.

Stay tuned.

Sincerely,

Jonas J. Smith
2019 Yukon Candidate
